In 2003, the British pop-group S Club 7 split up. Americans usually remember their TV show, which aired on ABC Family.

In 2013, Calvin Harris became the first artist to have a total of 8 Top Ten hits from one studio album. He beat Michael Jackson, who received 7 Top Ten hits from two albums – “Bad” and “Dangerous”.


April 22nd

In 2001, Destiny’s Child went to #1 on the UK charts, becoming the first US girl group to have more than one UK #1.


April 24th

In 2007, George W. Bush was denied a suite at the Imperial Hotel because Mick Jagger booked it first.

In 2009, Robin Thicke performed his hit song “Lost Without You’ on Oprah. So many people complained about missing his performance that she brought him back to perform again a month later. This had never happened before.


April 25th

In 2002, TLC’s Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes dies while in Honduras.
