Charlie Hunnam has backed down from taking on the role of the most fantasized man around the world. Could it have been the speculations that arouse when Hunnam accepted the role to become the seductive Christian Grey. Crazed fans tweeted, “He’s not tall enough!” “He’s not sexy!” “He’s not tall, dark and mysterious!” Maybe it was the pressure to fill Mr. Christian Grey shoes that caused him to back down from the role. Did the disapproval of the readers influence Hunnam from withdrawing just a month shy from filming?
Hunnam Rep stated he couldn’t continue with the filming due to “Scheduling Conflicts” other resources stated Hunnam didn’t want to pursue the role because he didn’t want the same fame “Robert Pattinson” had on Twilight…. Come mon now, what man wouldn’t of wanted women falling head over heals over him, while his bank account skyrocketed? Apparently Charlie Hunnam doesn’t have time or so he says!
E.L James the infamous author of the trilogy Tweeted:
Distributor Universal Pictures released a statement of their own last Saturday:
“The filmmakers of Fifty Shades of Grey and Charlie Hunnam have agreed to find another male lead given Hunnam’s immersive TV schedule which is not allowing him to adequately prepare for the role of Christian Grey,”
How difficult will it be to cast the new Christian Grey? There are many factors that have to be considered before casting such as:
1. The Hot, Hot chemistry between both lead actors has to leave everyone in the room wanting more!
2. The actor has to be comfortable bearing a little more skin than the usual (and if you’ve read the trilogy you know how much a little more is!)
3. He has to have SWAG! (Hey Grey is right on the border of Sexy meets masochist meets control freak)
Who would you like to see co-star with Dakota Johnson?
