• When the Dream Within A Dream tour and her relationship with Justin Timberlake ended, she began writing music and recording songs for an album with no real direction to take it.

• Co-wrote all but four of the tracks that appear on the album and often changed lines in her songs to better suit what she felt was better for the song.
