“The Mission” video by Tory Lanez

Tory Lanez is an emerging hip-hop artist out of Toronto, Canada. With striking similarities to his Canadian brethren at OVO (Drake and PartyNextDoor), the 22-year old is definitely a promising artist to watch for. Not only can he spit hard bars on the mic, he can also hold a note when crooning the ladies, too. He has a smooth r&b driven sound but levels it out with his hardcore rapping style.

Tory recently released his new Lost Cause mixtape, which you can download on swavenation.com, and wrapped up his 11-city Lost Cause tour in the U.S. He was also featured earlier this year on Compton rapper YG’s debut album, and released a single and video with Miami native Trina called “F*** Love”. If he’s not out there crowd surfing at shows, or saying f*** love with Trina, then he’s out there on “The Mission”.

Check out Tory’s new video for The Mission, a single off of the Lost Cause mixtape. He starts off the video with a quote from himself (Argentina Fargo), stating, “Touching paper never changed me, being broke did.” This eerie dark-lit visual takes us on a journey through Tory’s mission and shows us a quick glimpse of what it’s like to walk in his shoes. Check out this creative work of art and be sure to follow Tory on IG and Twitter (@ToryLanez) for more music and content.
