A whole new years means lots of different things. But for music heads any and everywhere, it mostly means new music from their favorite artists. And mounds of anticipation are beginning to build as 2013 begins anew in the music world

We’re officially past the “Best of 2012” list season and off to a fresh start in 2013, with lots of new music coming from some very big artists and even some hot newcomers. All kinds of websites, blogs and magazines have put out their respective lists for some of the most anticipated albums of 2013. Judging from what is on these lists, there will be no shortage of new music from some huge artists as well as some up and coming talent looking to make their mark in the 14th year of the new millennium.

With the music business and industry continuing to revamp itself in the wake of a continuously sluggish economy and the attention spans of music consumers waning, the music environment is sure to be more competitive then ever in 2013.
