That Inappropriate Elf on Your Shelf

0 7780

The Elf on the Shelf phenomena is all the rage during the holiday season. What better way to ensure that your child has good behavior than to plant a nosy elf in your home that will report back to Santa every night? Sure, this elf’s job is to update Santa as to your child’s naughty or nice level each day, but what if the elf itself was not so nice? What if, dare I say, the elf was naughty?

The woman over at Baby Rabies has taken Elf on the Shelf to a whole new level. For the past three years she has held the “Inappropriate Elf Contest” for some pretty amazing prizes—I’m talking about an iPad Air or Nintendo 2DS! Here are some of my personal favorite “inappropriate elves.” Be warned: these are not for your kids’ eyes.

1. Peeping Elf

Just your good ol’ elf…being a perv.

2. Twerk It

Twerking Elf

Inspired by that awful performance by Miley Cyrus and Robin Thicke. Poor Barbie.

3. What’s in the Box?

Are you a fan of Justin Timberlake and his rather infamous song from SNL? (I won’t mention the name, but you can watch it here.) Looks like your elf has joined forces with JT.

4. Silence of the Lambs

Hello, Clarice. Creepy.

5. Wrecking Ball

Thanks, Miley Cyrus, for all of the inappropriate inspiration.

6. Flasher Elf

All innocence is gone.

7. Breaking Bad

Seriously, this is probably one of the most creative elves I have seen. Walter White in all his meth glory? Genius.

And my personal favorite, due to my severe hatred of this toy is…

8. De-Furbied

They deserved it.
