What did Drake and Diddy scuffle over this past weekend? Some early reports claimed Diddy punched Drake over him flirting with girlfriend Cassie at LIV in Miami Beach. The punch landed Drake in the hospital further hurting an old shoulder injury. The details surrounding the punch have come to light and it’s not over a girl, it’s over a song.
Details over at TMZ emerged that Diddy felt disrespected over Drake’s hit and Grammy nominated “0 to 100/ The Catchup.” The song was given to Diddy and Drake to record by producer Boi-1da a staggering eight months ago, however, sources tell TMZ Diddy did nothing with the song, sitting on it as time passed. Drake, growing restless, recorded the song himself angering the hip-hop mogul.
Diddy saw Drake at LIV and confronted him about the song only to be blown off. Diddy reacted with, “you’ll never disrespect me again,” and punched the 28-year-old Canadian born rapper in the face.
MTV ran a piece yesterday about the high and lows of the relationship between Diddy and Drake.

This one video of the mic snatch had me not only laughing but also wondering where the relationship was headed. Then I thought again, “to the hospital.”
We’ve seen relationships start and end in the hip-hop world, most recently with the Wayne/Birdman speculation. What do you think is going to be the outcome of this?
Because I love the song so much, here is the reason Diddy punched Drake.
