CHICAGO RAPPER SHOW YOU SUCK Drops THREE NEW VIDEOS

Chicago rapper Show You Suck teams with Red Bull Sound Select for the latest installment of “Sounds of the City”—a live performance video series featuring Sound Select artists playing stripped down versions of their songs at inspiring locations throughout their hometowns. For this Sounds of the City collection, Show You Suck takes fans inside the tattoo parlor where he works for a special performance of “RAD.” His mother’s backyard becomes the backdrop for “Trill Talk.” And finally, Show You Suck steps on stage at Reggie’s Rock Club – the location of his first sold out show, among other benchmarks in his career – to throw down the always fun “Big Gulp.”

ShowYouSuck has raised the bar for live hip-hop performances and is considered a trailblazer for a new era in alternative hip-hop. He was born on the west side of Chicago, raised by a single mother and grew up loving alternative & metal music. The lack of accessibility to an instrument or people interested in participating in a band in his neighborhood drove him to rap. He was eager to create music he liked, music for people like him, and has created a unique style that fuses punk, Based, Trill, rap with a touch of wit.

The Art Institute grad promotes P.M.A (Positive Mental Attitude) while connecting with his fans through shared obsessions such as fun, food and relationships. He’s made appearances on MTV Suckerfree; joined Yelawolf’s national Slumerican Tour; and has released three mixtape projects, including “Girls, Girls, Girls” (produced By Stefan Ponce).
