Bryson Tiller is a young rising talent out of Louisville, KY. He first came on the scene with his mixtape in 2011 titled “Killer Instinct”. Since then, Tiller’s fan-base has been growing contagiously online. After the success of his first mixtape, he came back with the single “Don’t” that spread like wildfire with the help of vine and twitter.

There are a lot of r&b singers giving the rap-sing style of music these days and it seems to be working pretty well. Drake is a primary example of the rap-sing approach that the new generation of r&b singers seem to be carrying after. You don’t hear too many (if any at all) r&b singers sounding like Luther Vandross or Marvin Gaye these days, and Bryson Tiller is no exception. I hate to compare him to Drake, but that’s exactly the vibe he is giving us in this song, but I love it!

The song speaks about a girl whose man is not treating her right and Tiller expresses how he is better for her. The video is very dark and steamy, featuring red and blue light along with smoke in the air. There is a very sensual scene with him and a young lady, which carries on and progresses throughout the video. Bryson Tiller is showing us that he has talent and creativity and he plans to stay here for a while. People are expecting good things for him in 2015 and I can definitely see him as an artist to watch for next year. Follow him on Twitter and check out the video to his song “Don’t”.
