    About Jordan Foley

Jordan Foley is originally from Pittsburgh, PA and is a huge Steelers fan. He now lives in Orlando, FL and is also a middle school writing teacher. When he's not writing music articles or teaching children how to write better, he's either playing the guitar, hanging out with friends and family, or down the street for a beer (any IPA, preferably).
You can follow Jordan on Twitter (@jfoley), and you can also follow his own personal blog at

Lana Del Rey’s Ultraviolence Tops the Charts, But Is It Her Best?

    Ultraviolence Album Cover

With Lana Del Rey’s new album, Ultraviolence, reaching the top of the charts, is it really living up to the hype?

The entire album feels like a very long striptease.

It is as if each track is another layer of clothing being taken off one by one. Unfortunately, there are 14 tracks on the Ultraviolence Deluxe Edition, which would be way too much clothing during a striptease session.

Performances that Made Bonnaroo 2014 an Amazing Experience – Minus Headliners

    June 26th, 2014

It has been over a week now, and I am still having trouble getting used to the ways of society after Bonnaroo.

Every year at the beginning of June, thousands upon thousands of people wait in a line of cars for two days to get into the farm in Manchester, Tennessee. And for what? To see a bunch of bands and live free.

This year, I made it a point to see as many artists and bands as possible within the four-day music festival. After each show, I wrote the act’s name down on a list. By the end of the festival while we were driving back home, I decided to count the number of shows I had seen, even if it were just for three to four songs. The total number was 30. I could not believe it, so I decided to gather my observations of each show. Here are some of the highlights of my Bonnaroo experience.
