Following a stream of huge sell-out shows and festivals in the UK, such as Alexandra Palace, Global Gathering and SW4 to name but a few over the past 12 months, as well as a sold-out first UKF tour in North America, AEI Media is now appointing an experienced events head to grow the UKF live business and success in the rest of the world.

21 November, 2012, London: AEI Media, the music & media company has appointed Duncan King as its first A&R and Label manager to develop the AEI Media labels, talent and repertoire, as well as new brand concepts and partnerships.

Duncan King comes from Three Six Zero Group where he was General Manager of their Rights department, overseeing 8 independent record labels, and in particular developing deadmau5’s ‘Mau5trap Records’. His responsibilities also included brand strategy, brand partnerships, marketing and 360 deal setups.

Diluk Dias, co-founder of AEI Media, comments: “We are delighted to have someone with Duncan’s experience on board to strategically develop our label department, signing new repertoire and looking to develop new artists and brands. We have learned that building a media platform, events, and compilation business has put us in a strong position to sign and promote repertoire – it was the missing piece in puzzle, and now with Duncan’s appointment we’re in a position to leverage our network properly.”
